Description:
Mr. Helmick constructed a seven-and-a-half foot portrait of Albert Einstein for the courtyard of the Patrick Lyndon School. Staggered in a seemingly random manner, the horizontally-stacked pipes begin to visually cohere as one walks toward the school. At the focal point, the forms optically align into a portrait of Einstein. As an inspiration to the school, Einstein is a model of intellectual curiosity, scientific distinction, and world citizenship
