Description:
Counterpoint is a large-scale composition in which two stainless steel arcs contend against each other. An upright arc bends forward to pin down a subverted arc, while the subverted arc struggles to overthrow its upright counterpart. The work catches them in a moment of tension; the contest could go either way.
