Sponsored by the New England Foundation for the Arts with generous anonymous support and developed in collaboration with the Boston Art Commission, this series of monthly discussion series in the Greater Boston area invites attendees to engage in critical dialogue about public art. Topics have included the public art application process, a showcase of temporary public artists in the Boston area, tips on taking professional images of public art and grant support for public art.
The goals of the discussion series are as follows:
- Increase dialogue about public art in the City of Boston and Greater Boston
- Inform interested artists and community members about the public art field
- Alert public art professionals to new topics and trends related to public art
- Provide a networking opportunity for artists and administrators
Join us for a series of gatherings in the Boston area to discuss critical topics in public art. Come hear from field experts and peers, network with artists, and participate in the discussion. Look for updates on NEFA's event calendar.
